After been working in business life for more than ten years, Henny van der Veen (1968) decided to take a study at the Fotoacademie Amsterdam. She took the course professional creative photography. Presently, she is working as freelance photographer and communication specialist.
Henny is specialized in the old fashioned way black & white analoge photography. She loves shapes and simplicity, preferably in working with nudes and landscapes. But also portraits are favorite. Henny's photographs are mostly taken analog and she works preferably without extra exposure. Prints are hand-made by herself in the darkroom.

Henny has been involved in organizing the Epson Fotofestival Naarden in 2007 & 2009.
